Robin Larson fell in love with glass a number of years ago after many years of creative work and play in other areas of art and design.
Her current work reflects her fascination with the art of glass fusion, a process which requires cutting the glass, layout design and eventually slumping and firing the glass piece in a large kiln.
Robin often includes hand painting and metal recesses in her glass pieces. Architectural features such as mounting the glass on stainless steel are seen in her large pieces for wall installations and table tops.
Robin studied at Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle and Covenant Art Glass in Everett, and continues to develop her unique style in her home studio in Mukilteo, WA.
