Fireborne... Creations in Glass is a gallery with a strong focus on Northwest Artists. Our primary goal is to offer the finest and most comprehensive collection of art glass anywhere! We offer reasonable prices and strive for superior customer service.
Fireborne... was established in 1999 by two career bankers who collected art glass and decided to establish a gallery that is exclusively art glass.
After over seven years with the gallery, and two homes full of extraordinary art glass, they sold Fireborne… to Len and Becky Magnuson of Portland. Len is “retired” and serving on the Board of Directors for Portland Habitat for Humanity. Becky collected blown glass figurines as a child and, after 30+ years in medical office administration, began taking classes in kiln-forming, casting, lampworking, and many others, related to working with art glass.
She soon learned that becoming a successful artist is as challenging as achieving notoriety as an author or actor. The opportunity to purchase Fireborne… was perfect for Becky’s fascination with glass and appreciation for the gallery’s many, fine artists.
